This year, the Department of Environmental Protection of the Taoyuan City Government (TYDEP) will optimize the "Taoyuan City Business Waste Online Application Review Management System 2.0". A presentation on the operation of the system will be held on 2:30 p.m. of February 21 at the Taoyuan City Hall (B2, No. 1, Xianfu Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City). Businesses are encouraged to sign up and attend the presentation session. After the event, a video of the event will be uploaded and made available for those who cannot personally join to access online.
In February 2018, the TYDEP pioneered the nation in promoting the online review of business waste disposal applications and Permit Management Regulations for Public or Private Waste Clearance and Disposal Organizations. Through online application and paperless review and approval processes, the convenience of application is greatly enhanced, and energy saving and carbon reduction are also implemented. A total of 5,187 applications were filed in 2022, with an online application rate of 99%. During the operation of the system, the TYDEP also incorporated the feedback users and launched the "Taoyuan City Business Waste Online Application and Review Management System 2.0", which not only simplifies the application process, but also consolidates the five application items in the original system into a single portal, and increases the size limit for document uploading, so that the operation interface is closer to the needs of users and greatly enhances service quality and delivery.
The system operation presentation will be open for registration from now until February 20 (registration website: https://www.tydep.gov.tw/tydep/Calendar) The TYDEP reminds the public that the "Taoyuan City Business Waste Online Application and Review Management System 2.0" will be launched on March 1, and the application cases in the existing system will be completely transferred to the new system, so applicants need not worry about losing their prior data.
